I am running Vista 64, XP pro, XP64. Had 1 flakey router, but they sent me a replacement for it, have you tried one of the optimizers for your connection? I did, but @ my speed, never really noticed much. -

Use a router, connect the OUTPUT of the smartbro to the WAN port on the router. Can help ya more if I knew wireless router or not. -
Since mid 80's, Prodigy, I even got my old aol 1.0 floppy sitting in a box somewhere. Thank god speed has improved a bit since then, lol.

Haven't had very much trouble w/ my FIOS 50/20 plan. Have been able to be back up and running usually within 20-25 minutes.

I have seen some TCP optimizers, but they look like designed for much slower speed than 50, any recomendations? -

So true, I was surprised the tech returned my call @ all. My upload is supposed to be in the 20 mb range, but so far only getting about 16300, not sure if I can get around the overhead on the connection though. Might try cycling the modem, lol. They said they MAY send me a new one though, we'll see next week.
