  1. I live in the mountains in northern Arizona and this is my only choice for broadband. I just hate to have to deal with customer service if the upgrade to the 7000 has problems. They say the $25.00 offer is a limited time, and I wouldn't want to spend another fortune to actually buy it. But some say! If it's not broke don't fix it. Before I do anything, I will call Sprint and see if there is any chance in the future of being in my area. Thanks!
  2. I have the 6000 and Hughes keeps sending me cards and E-Mail to change my 6000 to the 7000. I don't know if I should go with the upgrade. What is involved with the setup? Is it as easy with no problems as they say? Any information would be appreciated. Here is my last test: :::.. 5. Recently hooked up a Linksys Wireless system to my 2nd PC, kept the 1st pc Hard wired. 6. Another questions: Using this switch...on your 3 computers, can all computers be on the internet at the same time? Does the Router plug into the switch? The wireless adapter I would have to purchase for each computer? This is also needed with a hard wired router?
  7. Is it true that wireless routers are slower than hard wired?
  8. I guess where I get confused is the addresses. Hughes.net Tech says the Router will add a address automatically to the second computer. Doesn't each computer need a separate address? Sorry, I am not to savvy where this is concerned.
  9. I am thinking of buying the Linksys Wired Router BEFSR41. I have read that the wireless ones are slower. Any information you have would be appreciated. Does anyone know of any problems with setting these up where we have Hughes.net. Thanks, Mary Ann The Keeper
  10. After cleaning my computer of unnecesary files, today I am back to over 1400. Not sure if that was the problem or if it is a different time of day I tested. :::..
