  1. I now have Telstra telling me that Velocity is not "cable". I always thought it was. We have a box in our garage that the connection runs into from the street.
  2. We are on the Telstra Velocity service. Our speeds have plummeted at peak times over the past 12 months. If we are lucky we get 5mbps but it is normally between 1.5 and 3 (even with a speed boost). We have been told this is due to exchange congestion. My question is two-fold - how can a cable service be impacted by the exchange, and are others having the same problem? Thanks in advance.
