The only worries I have when upgrading any linux distro are normally related to hardware drivers, normally ones for my wifi and video card. If you are not using them (I think ubuntu makes it pretty clear if you are) then you normally shouldn’t worry about upgrading to the latest supported release.

Now If Mr Valve / Steam (Gabe) would actually get behind his support for Linux, I wouldn’t have any reason to use windows at all

i use talk to text on my phone all the time...comes back with some pretty crazy stuff sometimes...like one time i was walking out of work (long hallway) and i was picking up my daughter but i was gonna stop home and shower and change clothes so i said "i'm gonna run home and jump in the shower real quick and change clothes" it came back with " i'm gonna run home and j*** off in the shower real quick and change clothes" hahahaha i almost pee'd my pants laughing...people were looking at me tears running down my face...i shoulda just sent it but it was going to my very prim daughter who wouldn't have found it funny...or maybe she would have.

not that long ago i had problems...my speeds dipped dramatically and testmy was the only site that picked up the problem...all the others showed my regular speeds...turned out to be that i just needed to buy a new modem (which you've already done) and these guys in here helped me figure that out. so hang in there

not sure what ca3le's plans are for a european server...but i do know and your provider should know that when you go on the internet much of the content that you see and the websites you visit aren't in your area...internet is worldwide...so a test to a server that is far away is much more realistic. whenever i'm having problems my provider always wants me to to go to a certain page and run a test on their intranet server and the test is an ookla test, which is very deceptive and doesn't pick up many problems. i tell them "no, i'll run a test at testmy.net because it's a REAL WORLD test"

i'm sure ca3le will bee in here today to address this further

actually ca3le it would be great if you put that identifier button on the home page too so that if one wanted to do the dual test they could log the identifier as well

Guess I never added to this topic. I was trying to come up with a user name about 7.5 years ago with my 18 month old son sitting with me.
The kid kept mashing the keyboard as I was trying to type in "danno" and it eventually came out as dn0.
I just kept that username for years until I recently changed it to dann0.
Now that little punk is a 9 year know it all , but love that little smart ace to death.

when i saw ur pic a long time ago in the "what do you look like" or the "mug" thread i knew from the "knuck" it had something to do with bikes...couldn't figure out the "co" part...thought maybe "company" like maybe you worked in a bike shop that specialized in knuckheads...whew!! glad that's settled...AND...man whatta beautiful bike coknuck

as for mine there are two meanings...

t=twilight dawn=dawn az=arizona
twilight and dawn are my two fav times of the day...and
also...

t=the first letter of my first name dawn= my middle name and az=arizona

whatta coinky-dinky...huh?...when i first made it i noticed right away that it also matched my name...so mostly when i'm asked that's what i say...but way back in the beginning it stood for twilight/dawn in arizona (you should see it...beautiful)...supreme serenity for meditating

to me...it's all about family and friends and the love that you all share for each other...getting together for the warmth of family...laying aside all things past and preparing for good times ahead...remembering what the season is really all about...if that's what a decent Christmas is then i sure did have a decent one
