Yeah, I tried a download and I was going about 500 times faster than what it was when I tried it a few days ago. I'm very happy with the results of this and I thank you for your time.

I disabled the sidebar because I didn't like it if that's what you're talking about and honestly I don't know what changing the stuff to static means. Sorry I'm such a pain

#3 Says to Disable UAC is turning UAC off and Disabling it the same? Because I turned it off a few months ago... it annoyed me.

If the file is greater than about 100 mbs i don't get a very good download speed. I don't know exactly what bandwidth I'm paying for but I believe I'm paying for the fastest quality one (if it helps my connection speed is 54 Mbps but fluctuates sometimes because I'm using wireless). As to my system... I'm using Vista 32-bit Operating System. Although, quick question- if I download something such as an installer or a torrent, etc the download from the site is fast but when I open it and start installing etc, I only get that really low download speed. Is this the same type of problem?
