um...some of my friends have this :? .....i was wondering....wireless's signals aren't unhackable...and i was thinking...if u lived near the dsl tower.....which broadcasts the dsl...could u hack the signal possibly? cuz isn't this service basically a HUGE ass wireless router.... :wink:

haha...yea....that's a shame...i have no clue y ppl do that.....cuz they are cheap? i mean.....god....it's just wrong

If it is protected, it's probably by encryption. If you can figure out how it's encrypted, you can "hack" it. As for figuring out what encryption they use, I haven't the slightest clue.

You wont be able to get any inet from it. Because of the WAP (wireless access protection) youd need a password to use it. You cant just like "grab the signal out of the sky" becasue of the access protection lol.

Here in NY we have Verizon's wireless dsl. The speeds are anywhere from 300-500kbps which is pretty amazing considerng you dont have to cary a huge dish on your back while going to work.
