I was wondering if there is a way to get Remote Desktop Connection on Windows XP Home any way?  i want the real full blown one, not just the client thing that comes with it.  I have a windows xp pro CD but i do not want to install pro right now, i just want the remote desktop feature

is there any way to do this??

if there is...TELL ME!!!!

Try this thread: Networking and Hardware. It may be of great use. If not...disregard.

I have a few apps listed within my post that can accomplish what you're looking for. Hopefully.

Good luck :D

well what I want to do is try to get into my friends computer so I can fix it, without having to install anything on his computer.  He says he has tons of spyware or something so i just want to get into it and see wats on it and try to get rid of all the crud hogging his comps memory and whatnot

If you are both running XP, neither of you will need 3rd-party software.

Just log on to Windows Messenger and have him invite you with remote assistance. :)
