I used Panda for a little while, and it seemed to slow down startup time seriously.. and it slowed down the system a bunch. *AMD Athlon 2800+ 1 gb ram* I uninstalled it, and installed norton 2k6... that made it faster again and made it detect viruses better.

I can deal with a slower start up time because my system is fast and running most the time anyway with few restarts.
