Wondering if there are any other Homewood, AL, Charter customers here... I moved to Homewood from Trussville recently... was getting a d/l rate out there - max - of about 1760. Here, I frequently am JUST over 3000 (3018 or so) but generally between 2700-2900. My u/l speed has also increased dramatically - sometimes approaching 400 (the few times I've checked!).
Very happy with the service thus far, although getting accustomed to the MOXI HDTV box is going to take some time (but I'm actually RECEIVING great HDTV here whilst in T'ville it was iffy.
