We would like to host the first Game night on Friday March 10th.
If you plan to play please indicate what server you will be using.

Description:
   If you own a legal copy of the game please feel free to join us in a night of gaming.  You will see some of the mods, members and others playing in a friendly game of EA Game's Battlefield 2.

Requirements:
   We ask that you have a broadband connection, a legal copy of the game version 1.2, and are a member of the forums before joining. We also ask that you use your testmy.net tag for the game so that we can get to know you a little bit better.   Dont have the game?   Read the connection details below!  NOTE: you must be running the latest Battlefield2 patch... http://theamericanfo..._1.2_-_1.21.exe


Rules of Engagement:
All member are recommended to read the testmy.net User Agreement before joining.   We would like to keep this a professional environment as much as possible.  VoIP will be available for those who wish to use it.  However, profane language will not be tolerated and can lead to being kicked off the server for the rest of the night.  In the game, admins will have the last say in what needs to be done. (all mods will be given admin status on the servers.)

VoIP server is the same([snip]).. for some reason the server message and graphic are not working (no password for VoIP)


(NOTE: this server is limited by bandwidth!  Therefore the server may be disconnected if bandwidth becomes an issue.)

you must have the new patch that was repleased today 1.21 you can download it here http://theamericanfo..._1.2_-_1.21.exe for that file to work you must have 1.2 installed already.

How can I tell what version I'm running after patching? Is that the version number in the upper right hand corner of the screenshot? If so, the patch that I installed didn't work.

Here is what I did. I installed the full game and then proceeded to installed the full version of the patch titled bf2_patch_1.21.exe which is 376.4MB. I figured that I needed the full version of the patch and not the incremental version being that I started with a fresh install of the game. The patch completed successfully, but I can't tell if I'm running 1.21 or not.

I also downloaded the patch titled bf2_incremental_patch_1.12-1.2.exe which is 81.5MB just in case I needed that one instead. I attempted to install it, but it wouldn't load the installation notifying me that I needed version 1.12 to be installed in order for it to continue. This may be due to the fact of the first patch being installed already.

I'm downloading the patch bf2patch_v_12.exe which is 366.2MB as it may be the original patch that I should have installed from the beginning.

I may have to uninstall the entire game and start from the beginning.

I just installed mine agian last week as well and I just downloaded the same thing you did, installed fine to. In the game mine says the same thing as well but it connects to the server.
