i got a few songs, i was going through my library on Media player, and i heard this ad like get a new cell phone, and now im mad, because i explored the file, it says its on my desktop uh huh its not there i ran spybot and adaware and an antivirus scan what should i do? have any of you ever heard of this?

could u give a little more information?
Are you saying you have some mp3s on your media players playlist and you were listening to them. And you seen an add on the news page of the media player and you checked it out. If this is the case, anything you download would be "safe" because its on windows media players news page. And if it was some spyware a simple test would have revealed that.
If thats not correct post a little more info on ur situation

The file could be set to hidden.. Try going to my computer, tools, folder options, view tab, scroll down to show hidden files and folders.. Then in find the correct location and go and remove it.

Phil, its an song thats an ad i got it from limewire, not an ad from media player its like a commercial mp3, and I checked to see if the file was set to hide but its not, i checked that as well
