Sup all. Well to make a long story short...
I was on FiOS (30/5) ... was working perfectly! Zero complaints.
I just moved (Sayville) .. FiOS not available yet. So had to switch to Optonline. I signed up for the boost as well -- so I should be running 30MB.
Well here are my latest results ..
:::.. Download Stats ..:::
Download Connection is:: 23785 Kbps about 23.8 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)
Download Speed is:: 2903 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Main)
Test Time:: 2007/09/07 - 9:02pm
Bottom Line:: 415X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 0.35 sec
Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 4.188 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 85.07 % faster than the average for host (optonline.net)
D-Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/stats/id-B94GY2UM0
User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 [!]
I used VanBurens v9 setting (Cable & DSL 3000) profile. Any ideas what else I might try? Keeps running between 21-24MB .....
Thanks all ...

I have the same problem you do and its crappy OOL that the speeds are not what they are supposed to be. At time i do hit over 30 mb but not much at all. Get Fios back if you can because i have had problems for 6 months with Boost not getting advertised speeds and they dont care.
OOL sucks man get away as soon as you can !!!!!!!!! I had them for over 10 years and they almost never reach advertised speeds.
