Hey all, quick question regarding the master password setting in firefox. If I remove the master password would it make it easier for someone outside of my LAN to get the passwords or is it just to protect from someone sitting at my computer and getting my passwords? Thanks
Let me know if I need to make the question clearer.

That is a very good question, I'd like to know the answer myself.  :)

its just to protect from someone sitting at your computer. It wont stop anyone from getting your passwords that is actually trying.

if we are talking about the profile passwords.. I think that does is protect you layout of your browser and maybe your form data, the stuff that you can remember.. otherwise I know that the bookmarks are stored as an html file or an xml file.. i dont remember which..
