Surfing is way better,all day long. No storm problems like I used to have either.

But D/L at night ( dway was faster before during the night) is a bit slower. Otherwise all is cool.

Forgot to ask do you use any tweaks if-so whats the best tweak ? since i upgraded to vista yesterday (late) it's been kinda slower (downloaded It taking atantage of "Unlimited" lol it was 2 Gigs

Like in my sig. TCP Optimizer is recommended. I set mine to "65536". So far it is working the best. Getting an antenna soon, will probably change then if needed.

Thanks, but I'm going to have to change ISP's. It gets pretty tough for me now to keep those speeds up using a hand held dish.

Hey granpa! I thought I'd check in with you since I don't *know* very many in TMN...good to see you're still keeping up the good work and posting...hahahaha re "Hand held dish"

I'm blowing my own doors off here with Cox 12/1 and 'Boost' in Arizona...you don't even want to know. But I've missed coming in due to having a relative staying here since Feb. 7th..Odd how we know exactly when they arrived, eh? So, she's settled in her own place now...mostly and I can dink around on the computer more. Glad to be back  and nice to 'see' you too.

It is nice Tommie...and at least I don't have to hold the cable modem in hand as granpa has to with his satellite dish I should just be 'don't worry, be happy' with that but I do 'worry' because my frequent disconnection/reconnections occur way too often. Still...could be worse. At least I can get stuff done fast enough that the disconnects are the *only* inconvenience.

TMN servers are real far from me so my test is not very accurate but from a much closer server using speedtest i get this
