Looks real good. I really don't believe there is anything wrong with the Hughes system, it works and has done me well for a number of years. But like when I used to drive to work and it was 15 minutes before the hour there was a lot of traffic and it slowed down as much as 60% and weather can cause a slow down. Satellite seems to be the same so I  just go with it and only get nervous when I lose some lights on the modem.

It is satelite, we don't have real speeds like the rest of you. 
Heck I have 500/50 myself. I don't think I hardly see that low on theD/L.    And I seldom see the U/L.

Right now I'm on my chair and not very fast yet, or may not get fast today.

One thing about satelite I really don't understand. The others are controlled by distance and such. But it seems all satelite should be about the same. Except for advertised speeds of course.
Just my thoughts.

From what I have been reading there are some control over the land lines. My daughter lived in Ca for 7 years and had dsl. A few time I was on the phone with her and had her test at the same time I did and her speeds were slower. Remember that we have a large jump to cover even before we get to any land lines.

So true, that is why in overseas speed tests we do fairly well. It is not much farther there from space.  I call that jump jet lag.  Yeah, a 2 second delay I believe.
