xs1 Posted January 15, 2005 Author CID Share Posted January 15, 2005 hm, since this wasn't just a problem today, i think i will translate it. well, our network got overloaded. our engineers were all busy with one thumb up their ass and the other in their mouth playing switch. lucky for us the network load went down a little in the afternoon so we could say we were back to normal operational status. meanwhile the management is debating wether or not to schedule shutdowns so they can call it maintenance, buying them another few days in which to be dazzled by all the purty blinking collision leds on the backbone's switches. have a nice day. hey hey now. i think you may be being a little hard on them... jim2006 Posted January 17, 2005 CID Share Posted January 17, 2005 Yea well that is why I managed to get us a new server because I talk about getting one and ten the reverend said he would do it then I suggested testing off of it and so now we have a new server so hopefully no more slow downs!!!
