From what i've heard they replaced some main routers, that could be it. Or the upgrade just made it to you.  :smile2:

Man, that TCP Optimizer must be something.  :evil6:

Kidding. Glad you have decent speeds finally.  :grin2:

I just did the TCP Optimizer, and I *think* i did it right, i just slid the bar over to 10000kbps, and clicked the "optimal" radio button at the bottom and clicked apply, and my speeds increased. We shall see.. I suppose if nothing else I can always restore my backup.

What do you guys think, did I do it right?

Yes you did it right as long as you rebooted.

I did. Cool, I just wasn't sure, I'm not a total newb at pc's, but with tweaking I am... good to hear I didn't screw something up.

The TCP Optimizer is hard to screw up as long as you follow all the prompts.

Even better, the speed should increase a little more in the next couple of days. It did for me anyway. Glad you found it.  :wink2: Nah, if your speeds increased you will probably never go to your back up. One of the first things I do on a reformat is put my TCP back.  So by Thursday you might almost be hitting 10megs. Lucky dog.

Tim that dedicated line sure makes a difference in your download. How much extra a month did that cost?
