I guess there's no real 'grasping' the whole shebang either roco...c
There's this same type thing lots of places in the great US of A. Lots of frustration too...getting to look lik the hot part of the ol' Cold War...before it chilled permanently. Kruschev:"We will bury you!"
We say:"Oh yeah? you and what Army?" I could go RIGHT from that thought to, wow, do you all realize how many dopes actually gave Ron Reagan major credit for the fall of the wall. Oh well..I've got stupid spots about 5 miles deep..makes great insulation  :smitten:

but here I read of a civilized intelligent group of people devising the most horrific way to take a persons life, from the comfort of their armchair, Yeah sure I would shoot a rabid dog, but with pity for taking a life, maybe the guy was mad or just bad, who knows for sure what drives these people on, and maybe it is best to remove them permanently, but please no armchair bloodlust , it's bigining to look like "Pot, Kettle & black  from here

also what disappoints me is the message this thread displays to the world , we had a problem a while back with a member being overtly Christian in his posts and avatar , as it might cause offense to other religions , common guys you ain't exactly waving the Olive Branch to the World either ,

I had no problem with his religious posts. In fact I figured it gave some flavor to the forum. (equality to it ).

And part of my problem might actually be I lost a beautiful 16 year old sister to a no god bastage of an ex-brother-in-law who maliciously stabbed her with 14 fatal wounds all over her naked body while she was running from him naked in a public park after dark bleeding to death. He also started to run after her in his car. He also burned down my mothers house about the same time. Her clothes were strung along a back road.

If he ever gets out, you will definately not like ME then either.  :tickedoff:

SO, if you see no remorse in my eyes sometimes, well I definately do not see justice the same way most of you on here will EVER.

He is still rotting in prison at the moment. And I did try to have him killed while he is in once.  :angry5: For some reason he lives a pretty good life for what he deserves.

Oh God Tommie.....Damn!
You're  family and you are to be praised for not finishing him off and giving him the satisfaction of getting YOU all into big hot water.
Oh..that's a horrible thing to have happen. No death penalty in your state? :knuppel2:

We really did not know for sure till trial it was him. And the hot water at the time would not have bothered me. They still had temporary insanity running rampant at the time. Believe me I would have used it.

And no on the death penalty at the time. I believe it was 27 years ago. So about 1979-1980 there abouts. But the memory never goes away.

If it weren't for my 2 lovely daughters, things would be different if he were allowed to get out today. So personally, I can not do anything to jeopardize what I am to them. But I have been thinking. So who knows. Hopefully he just rots.

I have huge sympathy for your plight tommie....trying to even imagine what I'd go through...and there's no tranquilizers or other substances that would cut throught the grief and anger. Take care of you and yours and Mr. Big will take care of you know who, I betcha

Oh I am fine. But I do sometimes see why they do not let victims or their families make the rules. I would be scared to walk out the door otherwise. But some scumbags just do not deserve to live. He got 100 years and a day. Or was that life and a day. Anyway, he is not supposed to ever get out. Hope it stays that way. Although he has been before the review board. And it always gets denied.
I would have preferred a good rope though.  :wink2:

Did you see that New Jersey's considering abolishing the death penalty? What the hell? In the New York Times headlines, "only state to be about to abolish capital punishment in 40 year' ( or some long time like that) George Ryan...now jailed ex-Governor of Illinois...summarily abolished it...and commuted all the sentences not 12 years ago there. Geeze, NY's outta touch...and N.J.'s? I don't want to get all riled up...hahahahah...glad you're not in the pokey on account of that evil-doer. I'd hate him to the grave and beyond...chase him to hell and be-devil him personally. Damn!

Yeah, the death penalty is not really a bad thing. Heck, it seldom gets used. And they sit for like 10 years playing cards and eating fairly good. About the ony thing they do not have is civilization as we know it, and freedom. Which after a few years, they prefer to stay most times anyway.

Hi Tommie bro , I am shocked and saddened to hear of your loss,
and can fully understand your feelings and reaction to that tragedy ,
I am truly sorry if my post # 59 touched a raw nerve with you, my post was not directed at anyone specifically , I was just trying to cool the thread ,and avoid the Cholla issue arising again, as we all have  been warned  TMN is a  World wide site,
your remark ..."If he ever gets out, you will definitely not like ME then either".
hold on there, give me the honour of making that decision myself, if that time comes ,
I just hope he rots also , if not, I will be happy to watch your back :wink2:
Best regards Roco  UK

Your right, I got a little half cocked as we say here. Perturbed a bit easy over a rare few things. My apologies. I do put that out of my mind most times. I guess I was just saying some folks really have earned the right to get upset about the way some things work out. Maybe not particularly Sadam myself, but I am suretheir are folks out there who think he should have gotten a much more painful death. These mass murderers and violent murderers as in my case are taken way too lightly. Sadam was just as grotesque, I am just glad I did not have to know about Sadam's victims. It might actually anger me personally about him then. Where did we give up the "Eye for an eye" at?

Oh shoot tommie! "Women!...can't live with 'em and can't live with 'em, eh?" Hahahaha..Oh well, we'll survive

Roco, I didn't take your gentler thoughts as wimping out...I'm sure you get 'riled' about some very unfair and cruel things you run into...if not as horrible as as tommie has to deal with. It's good to talk it out.

Oh God, one of Saddam's sons was like Satan incarnate, even compared to his father. And 'we' shot both his sons down like the dogs that at least one of them were. Heirs of corruption and raw power-grabbing, cruelty and murder masquerading as government. Good grief. :lipsrsealed:

You may have heard of what the vilest son's idea of a 'date' was...have some very young virgin girl dragged from her home, he'd rape, torture and then kill her....o O ( for which, in that culture, I'm sure her family had it's *only*, that she wouldn't have to live after that happened  ...as a woman so used, is tabu in most retro-Islamic cultures..Oh God help, help, help! Amen! )

Sorry tommie...but I always seem to go on a 'tangent' and probably have my own brand of tantrums about the horrible injustices done. Lucky souls all,  who ARE 'meek' actually. I wish we could all manage it...as 'inheriting the Earth' sounds cool! :cool2:
See 'round the pool here! Have to go get my inner tube! Where's my yellow rubber ducky?

:2funny: :haha: :2funny: As always, funny stuff there. I meant wimpy women...never mind. Anyway, duly noted mogramjo.  :police:

Yeah, it is a good thing it all stopped at Sadam. And no children left.  :icon_thumright:

One biggie left, now where did Bin go to.  :lost:

Now there's a 'pansy' for ya ..."Where ya been, bin?" laden..what an effete, rich twisted power-mad monster...but those are his good qualities...an expatriot who's own country, Yemen and family only dare acknowledge him from a great distance...they probably pay him big bucks in family money just to stay FAR away.
Yu may not see the 'pansy' I do in the newsreels, maybe it's the bed-sheets

Nah, he is just a rich kid with nothing better to do than get his family to want him far far away as you said.  :grin2: I am sure of it. I am also sure he is hiding in the Fla. Keys somewhere.

I watched the Saddam execution and it was kinda sad. I dont know why. I guess no matter how evil you are, when staring death in the face... well you just look kinda like a helpless kid. Saddam looked scared and while I know he was an aweul man its still sad to see someone realize they are about to die.
I share your feelings Shug , good to see the world leaders now (too late )
are taking this view also, it was a shambles,  and doesn't bode well for the future ,
