IMO, the best free learning guide on the web: http://www.w3schools.com/

I learned HTML and CSS almost exclusively from this site.  It is definitely a great start to learning any of the provided languages.

cool. i have used this site to learn html. its a nice site and gives examples on everything then has you do it. :smile2:

its good for basic stuff

also good in the javascript section as well

I especially like how you can play around with the code in the examples to see what does what.

I usually get help from w3schools and friends and owe them a lot. I'm not good in hardware, software and any type of repairs but I can compete with HTML and PHP. But now I don't have spare time in studying more about HTML and PHP cause of occupied work.
Hey, this thread has since been a year passed out but still good :smiley:
