Are we going to allow the lawmakers , and bureaucrats to place more laws on the books, or are we going to force them to enforce the ones already on the books?

This world , in a political manner, has reached the boiling point, the greed , and subjective viewpoints of a few, are controlling the masses. This is not how things were intended, nor how they should be.

We need to vote , and vote w/ our conscience, not what we have heard on our favorite news outlet, or sooner than later we won't be voting at all. Forget political partys.

So what do you feel about the direction world politics is taking us?

Everyones votes counts here, no matter the age, because the young will not be young always, your vote counts the most. And from every country , give your views on the subject.

things are gonna get worse, more important issues will be turned into political battles that solve nothing butin the end humanity will sort itself out. we are, next to roaches, the most resilient infestation this planet has seen, after all. we are the only race that can not only massively screw up its own environment but also carve out living space inthe most inhospitable areas. rant. babble. i dunno what i was gonna say. but it's gonna be a bumpy ride, whatever happens. so strap in, grab your ankles and smoke em if you got em.

yeh it's gotten to be quite a mess currently...and everyone is seeing it...this has happened before...the people stood up and turned it around...the american people won't sit back and allow it...as it is...we STILL elect our leaders...and if we choose the corrupt then we can only blame ourselves...if we don't vote, we can only blame ourselves...so next election...study up and make a concerned choice...before we do end up in a policed state...

k...now where's the girls corner...this one smells funny...too much scratchin belchin fartin and poopin

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: Oh you can say anything you want... of course saying some things come with consequences.  I don't think you are daft enough to think it is all "one sides" fault. As bad as it is now, 95% of our Gov. should be standing up, yelling and screaming. Nobody is though... IMO our WHOLE government is corrupt at this point and Americans are too spineless to say something. Either that or just to damn lazy and don't pay attention. All IMO of course.

Do not mistake this as a USA bash, I am one of the most patriotic and proud Americans you can find... but America was not founded to start wars and torture people. It was not founded to make secret CIA prisons in the UK. It was not founded on "executive orders" and the president being above the law. As a matter of fact it was not even formed as a Democracy... it was a Republic. Where you have certain rights that CANNOT for any reason be taken away... EVER. Under a democracy if the majority votes for it... well you can lose any freedom you have.

Prime example, the "Federal Reserve"... did you know it is not even a part of our Government??? Thats right, the people that print our money and set the interest rates, they are PRIVATE bankers. Our government has the right to print and issue its OWN money but it lets the Fed Res. do it and we pay interest for it. Many Americans don't know this, and it is a big deal... ITS ILLEGAL!

Really though, it seems as if we all have our opinions of how things should be run. Which is good in a way, yet must we demand some of our opinions be added to the long list of unrealistic laws already on the books?  I don't think so.

It sure would be nice if there were a good , independent running in 08'. Because I have yet to see anyone that stands out from the crowd, and screams reality.

They all seem to be focused on what there agendas may be, and how they would like to see the general population live. Can you believe it, actually standing up there, and spewing out "sound bites " stating how the American public feels, Malarkey, thats all it is.

I meet quite a few people in my occupation, and I tend to get a bit personable with many of them, they all say the same thing, politicians are not telling the truth about how the general public feels.

Therefore you have people , that instead of really educating themselves on any given topic, listening to all this Bullcrap, and following what they are told that everyone else believes. Damn what a mess.

Personally, I think this partisan thing has gone way to far. We are all people , and most of us of value, the media keeps us separated for simple reasons. It makes good news, and once again, there's money in news.

In confusion, there's profit!

I agree with you... but I dont think the American people would vote for someone unless they are already corrupt. Its all a popularity contest, who has the right slogan, is there a R or a D next to your name, thats all that matters to America as a whole in the voting booth. By the time we know enough of them to vote for them someone somewhere has bought them off. IMO.

Talk about out of control, look at what Obama said,  hardly no media on the " sound bite " except on NPR, where they say leaders in Pakistan are pissed!  This goes to show who controls the things we hear. Something such as a candidate for president , basically threatening another country get no air time, all the while, one bridge falls down , ( tragic non the less ) , and all you hear from one side , ( that controls the media ) is  how the " war " in Iraq is the cause of the bridge collaps !????  They say that because we are there, spending money, we are neglecting the infrastructure of the U.S. B.S.!!!!!!! That city has a huge surplus of dollars, and could have fixed the damn bridge!

And the infrastructure of the U.S. is fine for cryin out loud!

Water and Oil....They may not mix, but they are probably going to cause many future wars...  :undecided:

I've also noticed that a good percentage of the voters need to go the pharmacy and buy some cream..  :haha:

If you break down what you stated, I believe you said much more than you may think. Water , in my opinion, will be the future's next " Black Gold ". And wars may come to pass over it. Hell , it's already a commodity.

BTW, what do you mean by the " cream  " statement ?
