kudos!

1. Try to go back to the 20 Steps. http://www.testmy.net/t-20438.0
2. Try to use the cablenut setting in my Blog as an update. http://coolbusteraty...e.blogspot.com/
3. Use OpenDNS. http://www.opendns.com/
4. Right click internet connection icon in task bar, click repair.

That will help.

If you're using Mozilla Firefox,
In the tool bar, click Tools > Options > Advanced Tab > and under the Network Tab Click Settings.

You should be able to see a window like this:
Posted Image
Configure the Proxies to Access to Internet:

Select Manual Proxy Configuration
Then Place one of those proxies in the space provided, and use the port 8080.
Click OK all the way, =)

If you're using IE,

On the toolbar, click Tools > Internet Options > Click on the Connections tab > Click on the LAN settings.

put 1500 for connection type

try download = 384, upload = 384, latency = 600

or if you have cablenut already, open Adjuster and copy the values showed in my blog.

after saving the new cablenut settings, it is recommended to restart the computer for the settings to take effect.

after using the "20 Steps..." and proxies...here's my result?
http://www.testmy.net/share2-MN9EZ5RO2&dual=yes&q2=OGADC40B9

is this acceptable or not...i really can't tell coz previous speedtests suggest SmartBroken really sucks in giving a stable speed...sometimes its high but most of the time very low...usually i get speeds just a shy away from being a dial-up connection like 58 kbps download speed...besides, im doing these tweaks and configurations in the wee hours of the evening...say 11 to 12 MN up to 3AM where i pressume SmartBroken is at its best and the time where normal people don't use the internet and go to sleep)

did i mention i am so frustrated (VERY!) by their service, so frustrated that sometimes it triggers my hypertension the next day.  not to mention i have to endure eight (8) months more of this stress.

any help to calm my nerves will be much appreciated!  im done complaining almost everyday in their hotlines for the past 2 months now (where usually no one answers back or answers back with scripted replies).

your speed is acceptable depending on your usage of the internet. for me, i won't settle for anything less than 250 Kbps. try tweaking your connection, and stop relying on their crappy cs.
