OK, not sure if anyone is going to be able to help, but I figured I'd try...

We run a BF2 ranked server, and now are streaming screenshots to punkbusted to hopefully catch the lame hackers...

Problem is, in order to see the screenshots, we have to log into the ftp, and either view them there, or download them, which stresses the game server, and also takes too much time...

Does anyone know of a "screenshot viewer", or some other program, that we could use to view the screenshots, or possibly a script that would allow us to remotely view them?

Unfortunately, we cannot view the ftp folder via the web....

These are not local screenshots, they are screenshots of all the players on the server...

31  Best Free Screen Capture Utility
Three recommendations here: The first is PrintScreen [1]. It's a prime example of the KISS principle. It does exactly what I want, in the way I want while avoiding the trap of providing lots of useless and confusing features. It's the little things that count like making the hot key PrtSc so I don't have to remember it, and automatically sequentially naming the output files for multiple screen shots.

A second recommendation is Screen Hunter [2]. It's a commercial product but the "lite" free version is excellent, offering more features than Gadwin at the cost of a little added complexity.  It can save in .jpg, .bmp or .gif formats.

Also highly recommended is FastStone's Screen Capture [3] It doesn't require installation and yet has more features than you could ever want including the ability to capture scrolling screen shots across more than one screen page. It can also save in BMP, JPEG, JPEG2000, PNG, GIF, TIFF and TGA formats. In many ways it's like the full commercial
version of ScreenHunter except that it's free for personal use.  NOTE: Since version 5.4 Screencapture has become commercial shareware. You can however get the last free version from here [4]

All three products work with Win 98 and later versions.

Thanks for the reply, but this is not for screenshots for myself personally...I have fraps for that stuff..

The screenshots are taken by the  game server randomly.  These are not screenshots that I take, or want to take of myself, they are just screenshots of all the players in our server, so we can detect some of the wall hacks, and other hacks morons use.

They are stored in an ftp folder, which cannot be viewed unless using ftp program. What I need is a program or script that will allow us to view the screenshots in real time via a webpage or program..

If your viewing them off your server, wouldn't you still be downloading them as you view them? So why not just download the whole folder to your machine? I might be completely out of my element here.

I can download the files, but this causes a few problems...It puts more stress on the game server.  Plus, they are being continually taken, so I would have to continually keep downloading them over and over...The limit is 2,000, and it recycles after that.

The other problem is, in order to see the shots, you need ftp access.  We want admins to be able to view the screenshots instantly, but giving all admins ftp access to the game server is a BAD idea, because some schmo will delete or change something he shouldn't...

We need to be able to look at the screenshots in realtime....We hate to kick people with no real proof of them hacking..To download the screenshots means I have to minimize the game, start up the ftp, download them, then open up 2,000 shots...

Basically we need a gallery of sorts that we can have the shots displayed at...Problem lies with the fact that we cannot access the folder with the shots via the web.  I thought perhaps with a php script and an slq database I could somehow remotely view them...The screenshots always stay the same numbers (0001-2000).

I've seen a program for America's Army that does this, but it does not work for BF2...

I've googled the living hell out of this, and it's all been dead ends so far...

I figured perhaps TMN could pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat.

I see what your saying now. Seems to me like there should be some sort of a script or program out there that would do this, but I personally would have no idea where to find it. Good Luck
