Finally got another speed upgrade from my cable company, and believe it or not a price drop. The download speed went from 4Mbps to 8Mbps, and the upload went from 256 to 1Mbps. Here is a speed test I just ran. Not getting the full 8 but its pretty good for prime time. I know its not alot compared to most of the connections here but its pretty good for a town in Arkansas lol.

I have a 10/1, and other than testing I very rarely get 10 downloading a program. Now its different with the up load. I really notice a difference from 385 to 1meg. :azn:

This is from my studio, using speedtest.net.

The thing about using speedtest.net or speakeasy.net/speedtest is that it doesn't distiguish from speed or burst rate.

This speed you see here translates to about 5500/3500 on testmy.net, because it is testing the true speed based upon sending different size packets across the internet.
