Is there anybody successful in converting sm into ap?

2 years ago one man write me a letter in which he said that can upgrade canopy SM to AP, I have send him ESN of SM and he send me a link.
It worked!!!! Later I lose my contact with this man(((
Can you say something about it?

Hello all, I found this forum googling on the subject "Canopy SM to AP".

I did a little researching on my own. It took me 1 day but I successfully got the APboot.bin and SMboot.bin from the .pkg3 package. I flashed my Canopy SM (P9 hardware) with the APboot.bin, it did upgrade the software but the device was still an AP.

Does anyone have any other info on this subject ? Has anyone been able to make the *impossible* for now, convert an SM to an AP/BH module ?

Any replies are apriciated.

How many SM devices each of you has?
and how many devices each of you wants to convert in BHs,APs?
You should understand that it know-how costs much.
And nobody will send you instructions free of charge.
