And for 11 dollars more you can get 4 times that speed? That's a shame because I get 10/1 for $30.00 a month.

I still say I'd gripe and get it for the $5 less as advertised. You have to gripe to get it changed though. I used to pay for 28 K dial up what 56 k cost, till I seen an ad one day and they changed it to 56k no problem, but you have to point out the difference to them. They will never offer.

3/512 package ...  :idiot2:  This isn't my first time having ATT, but we just moved. At first when we got into this house, the modem would only connect at 1.5/300ish... Called ATT, they said basically nothing yet 5 minutes later it was connected at " Incoming: 3008 kbps• Outgoing: 512 kbps ".
At this house i have never gotten a download speed better than 310kbps, and about 51kbps upload on ANY site, not just speed tests but downloading crap.
Just shows that it may be saying its connected at 3Mbps(370~kbps)
http://www.testmy.net/share2-UJYXL7HO6
Upload image not working.
http://testmy.net/stats/id-IQCK0X6V5

Its funny how im being charged $40 a month for something that should be $30. Talking with a online support  :idiot2: now.. who hasn't answered for 5 minutes. Will edit when done.

Edit-  :2funny:

"Upon running a speed test, of course, you use a minimal amount of your download speed, so your accumulated download speed, including the process of running one online, should be around 2.7 to 2.8 MBPS."
Obvious

"Oh, I understand. When you download something, it also depends on the server where you download this file from. "
Again, obvious.

I was talking about getting about 2.4 all the time, no matter what server. Even my own located 40 miles from my house.. so he goes on and says this. I know its between 1.5-3, im not complaining to him just saying.
"If they are only allowing up to 500 KBPS of upload speed per customer, then that's the only download speed that you are going to get.
Certainly. The download speed that you have does not mean the speed that you can download a file. It is the download speed of you internet as a whole, including processing the website that you can view when you open a browser, all the other plug-ins that the website is showing, etc.  "

Never use online chat support.
Calling billing support now,

:wtf: So stick to your guns and get it reduced then.  :wink2: I know I would. Go higher if that is not working. They all have a boss.  :knuppel2:

Actually, it does.

Sorry, but it looks as though complaining about the price difference won't get you anywhere on this one.
