Check here for a very strange app..

Basic idea is that it uses the radiation from your monitor to transmit music that you pickup with a reg radio :D

This is 1 time i would like to have LINUX just to try stuff like this i find!

I can remember when to could buy Crystal Radios for about $1.50. I used to listen to it at night when I was a kid. :smiley:

:grin2: I can remember the cats whisker  crystal , I  built a few as a kid , 100 ft wire aerial ,and getting up a 6 am , thats the time BBC ..UK started transmitting ,

OH heck we built a few in highschool. Those and the electro magnets, and the shockers. Cant remember if there was a real name, but if you had 20+ guys hold hands and set it off, the last guy to reconnect was knocked on his ass.
