hey this is a great idea...we just watched chicken run tonite...great clamation movie...i sure got a kick out of it.
alot of humor...some scary parts...a wicked woman...mealy mouthed husband...and an evil plot to turn them all into chicken pot pies...it's even got a war hero...and a super hero "rocky" and he wins the girl in the end and good triumphs over evil in the end also.
i did hate how one sweet little chicken died in the beginning tho

Yeah, thats a hilarious one. My girls loved it too. And slept just fine after seeing it too.  :cheesy: Although it did leave me hungry for chicken pot pie.

Just saw Gemlins I & II in the last week too. Again did not know if the girls would sleep well. But they were chomping at the bit to see part II. So I guess it was equally a success.

if this is about any movie reviews (if not ignore my post)

my favorite movie of all time is either starship troopers or scarface.

but in terms of family movies, i own chicken run, both ice age movies, gremlins, etc.

but i'd have to say the GOONIES!!!!  i love that movie. sloth was my favorite character.  "MA You've been baaad" LOL

Great thread.

I watched Knowing and liked it. Slow at times but they didnt puss out on the ending. Loved the ending.

I heard from a friend that X Men origins was pretty tight. Oh and for the kids Monsters Vs Aliens is too cute.  :grin2: :grin2:

xmen origins is pretty epic in terms of a comic book movie.  although deadpools character got screwed up horribly....but we all knew at least one character was going to turn out way different than the comics when they made the movie.

I thought deadpool was sick! I dont care for classic XMEN stuff though so I dont mind them changing stuff like that. I see your point though.

  Soon as "knowing
' hits on demand I'll watch it, looking at the previews , seems as if it will be one of those that makes an hour and a half go by like a 30 minute show .

Me and the girls enjoyed "Raiders of the lost ark".  It was good the second go around. My oldest said "I know whats gonna happen. They should not have opened that ark". I asked "why". "She said there all gonna die now". (no she's never seen it) "I learned that in church".  (well it was cute to me)
