hey guys, imagine even us embassy manila website is being hacked!!! when you go to their website, avast real time scanner will tell you there is a trojan virus. i cannot open visapoint page because my browser will tell you that the website im opening is being impersonalized and has an untrusted certificate, even i open it using google chrome and firefox.I need to have a schedule for a visa interview. Can you please enlighten me what to do.Help is badly needed.thanks

Is this the website and then you click "Log IN"? And Avast is quiet here.
philippines.us-visaservices.com/

To me the log in page returns a not found error page.

Server Error in '/' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /SelfServiceLogin.aspx

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.1.4322.2300; ASP.NET Version:1.1.4322.2407

Maybe the server is having issues?
fourth reload gives this error.

Secure Connection Failed

philippines.us-visaservices.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

That page shows up, but clicking 'log in' or on the others brings up errors.

Gotcha now I see, it seems the  "drop point" , or home directory is misconfigured somehow. Could have been hacked, I guess if it were as serious as a visa, I would be on the phone.

thank you so much.actually, when i browse it again using another computer on firefox,it gave the same instructions. But i accepted that untrusted certificate,i was able to log on and so on.but i did not gave my informations.and suddenly my firefox browser started to crush.i think it is a form of website hacking, because it is where you will give your visa card number to pay for an interview. If i am using internet explorer 7, avast will tell you this: " HTML:IFrame-GZ [trj] " .Many many thanks!!!  :smitten:
