Any of you ppl know what is the speed that Cox advertises (Im in Arizona), because I'm getting way bigger speeds then most people that I know ( Thnx to CA3LE - i did spread the word :) ... And plus, I was talking with one of their techs and they told me I would be lucky if I test in speeds higher than 2mbs in my area.... thank you :)

Your connection is: 4217 Kbps (about 4.2 Mbps)

You downloaded at: 515 KB/sec

Consider yourself fortunate.

I'm learning to manage with this lousy service.

if you are getting over the advertized speed leave it alone.... Most likely you will not beable to get any faster due to the newer hardware. In the old days you could hack your modem and get these outragous speeds. But now with the new tech you cant do it. By the way it is illegal so dont try. :)
