as you all know tstillery is in kuwait right now...and being moved to iraq in a week...

he would like a new sig...and since his time on the computer is time limited to 30 minutes i've offered to put in the request for him...

he needs an army sig...

preferences...something tough...not pretty...a tank...colors black and yellow...and the army strong logo

anyone up for the challenge...???

Well, here is a rough draft. I kinda did it fast. Gimp doesn't do what I wanted. (Or I cannot find it.)

yeh maybe scale it down and darken it up...use it in place of the other...since that's the one he was actually in...

All I did was resize ti signature size. If I knew how to use gimp or photoshop I'd do it for him right!

I bet you could just crop the thing so it's smaller ? I dunno.

k...here's my attempt at cropping and resizing...i also adjusted the brightness and contrast of the tank...tell me what you think of these...nano...or anyone else...can u work with any of this??

yeh but we need his name (tstillery) across the tank photo...

I'm sure not the best at creating a signature.I've seen others make better ones.The Artwork Guy comes to mind.
If I attempt one I need to know a couple of things.
What is the maximum size allowed ?
Are animated .GIF's allowed or supported for signatures ?
Because a stilled animated .GIF looks like crap.

gif's are no problem...max height of the sig space is 225px including spaces...so best to keep an image height to no more than 175px that way a member can add text to their sig...

I used the 175 height suggested by  tdawnaz  & the width of Coknuck's sig supplied by checking properties.
So this should be OK.

Edit :They do not work as animated .gif's on the forum so they do not yet look correct.Open one with Ifranveiw & see the difference.

OK if they are animated to you I must need to make a setting to my OS somewhere.
Other animated .gif's are showing as animated like your avatar.The ones I posted don't show the Army Strong star logo only the tank & Superman sheild.
I will see what I can do.
If they work for Tstillery that's OK with me.

clear your cache...that's what i had to do to see my little girl moving...when everything else was moving...

oh and i sent him a message to come take a look at this topic...but i think it's the middle of the night there
