avg can't update...

forum there says to go to update management and delete temp update files...which sometimes works...or restarting my compute will sometimes let me update...but not anymore
anyone else having this problem??
anyone have a solution

Or you might need to reinstall it(uninstall old version first). To be really simple if something has become corrupted. I know with Symantec(Norton) many years ago, you had to regedit to 'fix' a small line to restore the updater to working again.
Or the other one is the update server is being a pain and causing the error, due to heavy load. Which should clear in a couple of days.
And. Helps to make sure that no bugs are preventing your updater from working.
