Well another bad thing happened to me in this neighborhood.

A stupid old lady hit me when I was on my motorcycle going around a turn yesterday. I was riding around yesterday killing some time, I came in the gate to go home, go around the turn and there the bitch is. She is driving on the wrong side of the road. I pulled the clutch in slammed both breaks, but it was to close the back tire locked up. I knew it wasn't going to be good so I pulled my right leg up and dropped the bike. It slid and slammed into her front bumper. I slid a little in between her car and the curb.

I jumped up and started yelling at the bitch. I said every word in the book five times over.  :evil6:  Then she has the nerve to roll down her window and say "you shouldn't be riding a bike". I really lost it after that, threw my helmet down and fucking went off on her about driving on the left side of the road. She started backing up like she was going to leave so I got behind her and took down her plate so she couldn't backup anymore and leave.

She then started going off saying "look what you did to my car, its a band new car, omg what did you do". I had to yell at her again saying "Look what you did to my fucking bike, your on the wrong side of the road". She kept saying it doesn't matter what side of the road she is on.

The cops and fire department came, checked me out, then she started playing the "I'm hurt" game, even tho she wasn't. I'm telling the cops what happened, and showed them the skid marks on the ground. Her's is about 4 inches long, so she try didn't stop at all, my skid mark is about 8 feet long.

The cops ended up giving me a simple ticket for not having motorcycle endorsement, (I was going to do it next weekend). And they gave her one for driving Left of Center.

She has minimal damage, there is a small bump and black marks on her front bumper, plus her front under skirt came off. My entire front end and tank is trashed. The way I put it down the head light hit her bumper and absorbed the entire impact, and it smashed into all the gages and handle bars which smashed the tank.

But this is a Honda, and as soon as the carbs drained a little bit of the fuel that was all in them it fired right back up.

Here are some pictures.

Haven't driven a motorcycle in years, but in my pickup truck, I do 'slightly' go out of my way to make sure that people stay on their own side of the road. And that is public and private and forest service roads.
And If I see someone about to cut the corner doing a left turn, I will speed up, to the stop line to scare the S#!t out of them.

Too many drivers, including police drivers, have forgotten what happens when two vehicles collide head on.
And then the dead motorcycle guy gets the ticket for the lies that the car driver tells.
So a motorcycle guy wakes up in the hospital, with charges against him. Then the car driver quickly told the truth of being at fault when confronted.  Otherwise a dead motorcycle driver will be at fault forever.

IDK if that would really be worst. At least Id probably have something good to look at after. But the stupid old lady probably has more money. Even tho she still kept rolling when I was on the ground for a second next to her car.

Everyone on a motorcycle gets hit at some point. The stats say that in florida 75% will get hit with in the first year.

And most drives will blame the accident on the motorcycle driver, but over 90% of the time the motorcycle driver is 100% not at fault.

It's the price we pay to have all that freedom.

Welcome to the motorcycle accident club... I hope you didn't get hurt at all.  Did time slow down while it was happening?

every time i was in an accident or near miss, time slows down and you see it happening very slowly.

I've gotten to the point of... If I was 1 second or 2 seconds or 3 seconds further down the road, some jackazz would of crashed into me.

I do love the people who are doing right hand turns and never bother to look right(people need to look both ways).  Either theres a pedestrian or a car passing another car coming from the right.
Nearly got T-boned once in my car by someone leaving a gas station like that. They were turning left and just started going when I was just about in front of them. So quick 5 foot swerve. I was watching them looking right for most of the time.
And if there was a situation of me hitting oncoming traffic, due to the bad driver? I would opt for taking out the front or back end of the accident causer.  Too many a innocent driver(that crashed) has had the accident causer just drive away like nothing happened.
There was one in Detroit where a gasoline tanker got sideswiped by a foreign noob car driver and the tanker took out, by fire, an overpass on the highway. Car driver was eventually found via witness's. No one died amazingly.

Then there was that two weeks where I had a massive target on my vehicle. And about ten people looking to hit me. Sure helps to pay attention to what other drivers are going to do.
It's amazing when I can predict what a driver is going to do, by the subtle movements of them or their vehicle.

Seen too many accidents in front of me or behind me or beside me in the other lanes. And stupid accidents as well.  I stay away from body shop cars. They can t-bone someone about 70 feet into someones yard.

Too bad the cops in areas of BC don't respond to minor accidents anymore.  Unless you pretend to be really hurt(needing an ambulance), or you can't move your badly damaged vehicle out of traffic. "call your own damn tow truck" they say.  But with a monopoly Insurance company, we all get screwed.
Bad drivers need to get tickets that lead to suspension of license. No police ticket means no problem, just pay a slightly higher insurance premium and continue doing carnage.
