Dlewis, paladin, EWO. I know several more according to posts.

All I ever heard was I'd not take a million dollars for it, and I'd not take a million to do it again.   :police:

I do have to ask why though? Are you thinking of a new carreer?

Well they will fix that problem right away. A boot in the ass will get you moving faster  :haha:  You can't carry a 100 pound pack if you run slow.

If I had my rathers I'd now join the coast guard, as they are officially part of the armed forces now. And I'd love binoculars on the beach every day keeping a close eye out for  things.    (if you know what I mean) And be states side all the time. You would be fine Ryan. They are leniant on those in need for a few days ........... then you'd definately catch up like all the rest. Its not bad really. The horror stories are from the 50's that never died.

Hi, wow to make a 1st post having recently discovered your speed test and especially being able to log my scores and now a forum of nice ppl.

Vietnam 1969-1971 served in the signal corp doing the long haul communications using 35 foot dishes with 10,000 watts of transmit power.
Learned how to cook a hot dog on a stick in front of the feed horn or light up a fluorescent bulb  haha
Dual redundancy, 2 dishes both vertical and horizontal polarization and 4 receivers taking the best possible intelligence.

My Nha Trang to Da Nang shot was a very long haul, a series of relays proving all the communications of telephone, teletype and fax.

Air Force ran the satellite bird, up/down to Clark AFB in the Philippines, there close enough to go back to another bird to reach the USA.
Such a rewarding feeling to allow our combat soldiers ability to call home.
I shall never forget so long ago.

I'll come back and edit link to Photobucket pictures of what 12 parabolics (size of a school bus wide, looks like) if you have interest ?

Hi Tommie, thank you for the warm welcome, can I reply to an earlier post ?
-> All I ever heard was I'd not take a million dollars for it, and I'd not take a million to do it again. <-

Retired 8 years ago (now 62) with the 100% serviced connected disability due to agent orange diabetes, the VA health care system doesn't get any better, a strong consideration.

Discharged 1 Sept after a 4 month hospital stay, 2 months in a coma on full life support, that could have been more than a million dollars in private care, so theirs your million bucks.

On a brighter note, here's a shot from the runway to the main site.
Opps darn, need to figure out your code to post the link .
Back again.

If you go to preview you can also upload pics there that are on your computer. I had a few good bro's from Vietnam era military. Agent orange took one of them, cancer got the  other. I miss them both.
