There are many other forums out there trying to cover this problem up? I'm not sure why? If were to guess thats what they are supposed to do in the WB world? Most will run test strictly outside of the known times of slow down. The scientists are quite amusing to me, more people are questioning there logic of how a dish re-points itself during the early hours of the day then becomes unadjusted during the evening hours. Maybe certain a moon phase...weird?  Oversold and greed couldn't have anything to do with it. Almost sure its going to get even better slower.  :2funny:
Hughes did the same thing. "Your dish must be pointed wrong. For $<Enter cash amount> we will send someone to fix it."

Sorry about your luck. File a BBB complaint. Should open their eyes.

File a bunch if you want. I know I would.

Thanks,
EBrown

It appearers that the WB boat is sinking....... oh my.

The scientists in WB world all say WB is not oversold.... simply your dish needs re-pointed or your equipment is bad? I'm entertained by the weather/cloud excuse as well affecting speed.

I know the scientist from the WB world are reading: maybe I missed the part about many WB customers need re-pointed and clouds? :bs:   Keeps talking about "demand" and "capacity"?

Writing on the wall....? oh my. It cant be so

For WildBlue, things have been going well. WildBlue got its Ka-band service going before Hughes was able to launch Spaceway 3 (changes in ownership played a big part in this delay) and has added subscribers quickly enough to be approaching a 50 percent market share. Unfortunately, they kept running out of capacity in high-demand regions. WildBlue began service using part of the Ka-band payload on Telesat’s Anik F2 but certain spot beams ran out of capacity early. Then WildBlue launched WildBlue-1 and the same thing happened. Finally WildBlue leased the Ka-band payload on EchoStar’s AMC-15 satellite, initiating service in August. AMC-15 will be used to provide service to subscribers in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia and Arkansas. Still, AMC-15 carries only 12 Ka-band transponders and the writing is on the wall. WildBlue will need more capacity and they don’t have another satellite on order.

Hmmm Would seem that it makes a big difference if the system changes are ACTUALLY made....

Called directv last night which is who we are getting WildBlue through and still had us set for the "Express" package. Will post a test later to see is speed holds up during the day.

Lesson learned! If changes don't take effect, CALL AND CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT!

Thats good.
I've seen the occasional post where people have upgraded and still not gotten better speed. Note this thread: http://www.testmy.ne...ave-hit-me-too/
But how many people think they are paying for a certain package or speed and are not getting it. Not knowing about speed testing.
There is the occasional one where the user called to upgrade and along the way, something did not get finalized(any ISP). And 3 months later the user(via checking the bill) or a friend using the connection, notices that things are slow.
