Facebooks founder Zuckerberg says that if he had it to do over again his website would have made "no user privacy" the default position.

if you feel so badly about a site, dont go there, dont spew about shutting down sites when you disagree with them. sure facebook isnt the greatest site, and it has its problems, so does every other site, just be smart about what you do online and its good enough.

i hate the way yahoo is set up, but that doesnt mean i want them to shut down their whole network of sites....

The problem is the idea, the mindset. Of course you dont go to a site that doesnt care about your privacy if you do care about it. The point is in ten years are you even going to be entitled to privacy at all?

IMO the way this country is going....no. i really dont think so.

by the way, we just now apparently started wondering why we arent any safer in reality, but are still giving away our liberties and freedoms....actually had a news story on it. i was shocked.  :|
i believe it was on cnn yesterday morning if i remember right.

Thats how people with liberties are convinced to give them up. Fear. Never makes them safer though.

i don't like how when you're on myspace it shows everyone that you're online or when you were last online...sometimes u just wanna get in and get out and it's nobody's business if i'm on or when i last was...so i rarely use my myspace...oh yeh...it also shows people that send you a message, if you've read it or not yet

No they could care less!!!!!

Its because of sites like this INVADING PEOPLES PRIVACY AND SPREADING IT ALL OVER that we have to be so careful with data online! (THIS MESSAGE MIGHT END UP LOGGED BY  THEM,WHO KNOWS.....)

The only way to help stop that is BLOCKING THE GUEST GROUP FROM VIEWING,then that is cut down by 50% (Still its not enough)

I cant believe how many people DONT CARE ABOUT THIER PRIVACY!!!!!! -- They enter any and EVERYTHING ABOUT THEMSELVES and its sick!!!!!

That's because people are oblivious to the facts! or they do not believe in the truth.  Either way, each to there own, My security on there is crippled as much as I can cripple it, no one knows I am online either.

The main issue I have with fb is the censoring, many people fail to notice or have simply never took the time to notice that keywords and phrases are removed before there published. Not forgetting the data collection , compiled for ?
