I see that. Maybe they have changed there keywords or something, I know some time ago you could mention twit or tweet, bug or thump and forget it , it wouldn't show.

FB is no good and its time ppl start trying to take thier privacy back...

Your one of many.  The entire free software foundation is of the likes. ( no pun intended ) I should rephrase to entirely against facebook. Blatantly.

But your fighting more then just facebook on that level.

There are indexes out there that you can't imagine, Thats where no one has made an application around, just crawling everything and archiving it.  In different ways and for different reasons. It's really not that difficult to log every webpage, click , post , vote , whim and or wish of the person behind the IP, mac address, geographical location , and family tree as well as legal history, finances and life habits.

Facebook is simply a tiny part of it all.

If you check the WHOS ONLINE list here you almost always see FACEBOOK seeing what they can get,its sick....

Well, you have to realize that more and more facebook is becoming a search engine.  I believe that they're building towards that anyways.  You're seeing them spidering the sites content.  Of course they're seeing what they can get.... so is Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.

We haven't had true digital privacy since the dawn of the internet really, companies are always going to want inside information on you so they can sell you shit... they just happen to be going about it in a sneakier way.

Guys, it will never change, so if you don't like it... unplug your internet now.  It's the only way to be 100% sure (haha)  ;)  --- and I can almost guarantee you that if you read closely the legal notices on many of the sites you visit... they are disclosing this to you, so no laws have been broken.  But hardly anyone reads those... everyone just clicks "accept" -- they know that ;)

So do I and it is a maze trying to explain to them , that if they have a checking account, pay a gas bill , or electric, water , anything and or a SS # or the likes in other countries , they have none of this so called privacy they seek to begin with. Everything is digitized. Even if you do not have an account online with one of the companies you do business with , they still have you in the database. So that idea is out the window.

Look at the way data is being handled , it's all about recovery / speed / delivery. So caching as well as having the data available in more then one place for faster delivery. So data must be indexed, with hardware / software combinations such as CDN / Netapp , and who knows what else.

If you are thinking along lines such as this , then start looking into who is indexing the indexers, or search engines.

Think on the lines of keeping your most personal information , to yourself. And look into those that are trying to encrypt the entire net.
