I bet some people think that anyone with an Arab sounding name is a Muslim?

You've got the Internet people. How the heck are you confusing your data? Turn off Faux news and Google the Facts. And avoid those 'FAKE' grass roots sites dissing anything Democrats, that are nothing but shill sites for the 'wealthy elite' to avoid taxes.
Don't listen to one source that has to wipe the tears off of the table Pulpit after his show. Or the other one who goes to Costa Rica for medical care in a private jet and sells off his 12 million dollar(sold price)New York apartment to avoid New York 'rich people' taxes.

Obama Says He’s Unconcerned by Unfounded Rumors About Faith
August 29, 2010

President Barack Obama blamed “a network of misinformation” for the increasing number of Americans who believe, incorrectly, that he’s a Muslim, and said he’s unconcerned by such rumors.

“The facts are the facts,” Obama, who was born in Hawaii and is a Christian, said in an interview on NBC’s “Nightly News” program. The president said he faced questions about his roots in his campaign for the U.S. Senate seat for Illinois and during his presidential run and overcame that obstacle.

“There were those who said I couldn’t win” the Senate race “because I had a funny name,” Obama, 49, said. “I trusted in the American people’s capacity to get beyond all this nonsense.”

A Pew Research Center poll released earlier this month found that 18 percent of the public say they believe Obama is a Muslim, up from 11 percent who said so in a March 2009 survey. Thirty-four percent identified Obama as a Christian and 43 percent said they didn’t know his faith.

The survey of 3,003 adults was conducted July 25 to Aug. 5 and had an error margin of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

There’s “a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” Obama said.

Obama said he’s not concerned about rumors about his birthplace or faith.

“If I spend all my time chasing after that, then I wouldn’t get much done,” he said in the NBC interview, conducted in New Orleans after Obama marked the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall. “I can’t spend all my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.”

But it is true that McCain is a Panamanian............. Born on a U.S. army base in Panama. :smile2:

Quite an interesting read of over the years hiccups in the Presidency races..

McCain’s Canal Zone Birth Prompts Queries About Whether That Rules Him Out

February 28, 2008

WASHINGTON — The question has nagged at the parents of Americans born outside the continental United States for generations: Dare their children aspire to grow up and become president? In the case of Senator John McCain of Arizona, the issue is becoming more than a matter of parental daydreaming.

Mr. McCain’s likely nomination as the Republican candidate for president and the happenstance of his birth in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936 are reviving a musty debate that has surfaced periodically since the founders first set quill to parchment and declared that only a “natural-born citizen” can hold the nation’s highest office.

Almost since those words were written in 1787 with scant explanation, their precise meaning has been the stuff of confusion, law school review articles, whisper campaigns and civics class debates over whether only those delivered on American soil can be truly natural born. To date, no American to take the presidential oath has had an official birthplace outside the 50 states.

“There are powerful arguments that Senator McCain or anyone else in this position is constitutionally qualified, but there is certainly no precedent,” said Sarah H. Duggin, an associate professor of law at Catholic University who has studied the issue extensively. “It is not a slam-dunk situation.”

Mr. McCain was born on a military installation in the Canal Zone, where his mother and father, a Navy officer, were stationed. His campaign advisers say they are comfortable that Mr. McCain meets the requirement and note that the question was researched for his first presidential bid in 1999 and reviewed again this time around.

But given mounting interest, the campaign recently asked Theodore B. Olson, a former solicitor general now advising Mr. McCain, to prepare a detailed legal analysis. “I don’t have much doubt about it,” said Mr. Olson, who added, though, that he still needed to finish his research.

Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina and one of Mr. McCain’s closest allies, said it would be incomprehensible to him if the son of a military member born in a military station could not run for president.

“He was posted there on orders from the United States government,” Mr. Graham said of Mr. McCain’s father. “If that becomes a problem, we need to tell every military family that your kid can’t be president if they take an overseas assignment.”

The phrase “natural born” was in early drafts of the Constitution. Scholars say notes of the Constitutional Convention give away little of the intent of the framers. Its origin may be traced to a letter from John Jay to George Washington, with Jay suggesting that to prevent foreigners from becoming commander in chief, the Constitution needed to “declare expressly” that only a natural-born citizen could be president.

Ms. Duggin and others who have explored the arcane subject in depth say legal argument and basic fairness may indeed be on the side of Mr. McCain, a longtime member of Congress from Arizona. But multiple experts and scholarly reviews say the issue has never been definitively resolved by either Congress or the Supreme Court.

Ms. Duggin favors a constitutional amendment to settle the matter. Others have called on Congress to guarantee that Americans born outside the national boundaries can legitimately see themselves as potential contenders for the Oval Office.

“They ought to have the same rights,” said Don Nickles, a former Republican senator from Oklahoma who in 2004 introduced legislation that would have established that children born abroad to American citizens could harbor presidential ambitions without a legal cloud over their hopes. “There is some ambiguity because there has never been a court case on what ‘natural-born citizen’ means.”

Mr. McCain’s situation is different from those of the current governors of California and Michigan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jennifer M. Granholm, who were born in other countries and were first citizens of those nations, rendering them naturalized Americans ineligible under current interpretations. The conflict that could conceivably ensnare Mr. McCain goes more to the interpretation of “natural born” when weighed against intent and decades of immigration law.

Mr. McCain is not the first person to find himself in these circumstances. The last Arizona Republican to be a presidential nominee, Barry Goldwater, faced the issue. He was born in the Arizona territory in 1909, three years before it became a state. But Goldwater did not win, and the view at the time was that since he was born in a continental territory that later became a state, he probably met the standard.

It also surfaced in the 1968 candidacy of George Romney, who was born in Mexico, but again was not tested. The former Connecticut politician Lowell P. Weicker Jr., born in Paris, sought a legal analysis when considering the presidency, an aide said, and was assured he was eligible. Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. was once viewed as a potential successor to his father, but was seen by some as ineligible since he had been born on Campobello Island in Canada. The 21st president, Chester A. Arthur, whose birthplace is Vermont, was rumored to have actually been born in Canada, prompting some to question his eligibility.

Quickly recognizing confusion over the evolving nature of citizenship, the First Congress in 1790 passed a measure that did define children of citizens “born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States to be natural born.” But that law is still seen as potentially unconstitutional and was overtaken by subsequent legislation that omitted the “natural-born” phrase.

Mr. McCain’s citizenship was established by statutes covering the offspring of Americans abroad and laws specific to the Canal Zone as Congress realized that Americans would be living and working in the area for extended periods. But whether he qualifies as natural-born has been a topic of Internet buzz for months, with some declaring him ineligible while others assert that he meets all the basic constitutional qualifications — a natural-born citizen at least 35 years of age with 14 years of residence.

“I don’t think he has any problem whatsoever,” said Mr. Nickles, a McCain supporter. “But I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if somebody is going to try to make an issue out of it. If it goes to court, I think he will win.”

Lawyers who have examined the topic say there is not just confusion about the provision itself, but uncertainty about who would have the legal standing to challenge a candidate on such grounds, what form a challenge could take and whether it would have to wait until after the election or could be made at any time.

In a paper written 20 years ago for the Yale Law Journal on the natural-born enigma, Jill Pryor, now a lawyer in Atlanta, said that any legal challenge to a presidential candidate born outside national boundaries would be “unpredictable and unsatisfactory.”

“If I were on the Supreme Court, I would decide for John McCain,” Ms. Pryor said in a recent interview. “But it is certainly not a frivolous issue.”

Money is bad when the rich people's life is to make as much as possible, via making things like sub-prime mortgages that are guaranteed to cause the home owner to get foreclosed on and a shady market that causes people to lose their life savings of investments. And to top it off, to make stocks that pay out when those mortgages are guaranteed to fail. And things like that cause a massive F*CKING World recession. And then you get rich people who don't give a F*CK about the economy, since they can live a hundred million lives with what they have in the swiss bank accounts.

Oh but the Republicans don't want 'regulation'. For you see regulation makes sure that the economy won't suddenly collapse and take all the poor homeowners and small business owners with it. Meanwhile Rush Limbaugh bitches about how the Dem's are not working fast enough to fix 8 years of crappy government. It's only been two years under new management people. And don't expect 'God' to fix it either.

Meanwhile regular people work and work and never get anywhere in their own goals to be comfortable in having large enough savings for their expected life term.

Rich people refuse to pay taxes and use the Republicans as that conduit to not pay taxes. Then create/overtake a TeaParty to further their goals of not paying taxes. And then lie to the people that the pending expiring Republican tax breaks will hurt the regular people. When the ending of the tax break will only affect the Rich People who make over two hundred thousand dollars per year.

Why are people so stuck on one line of thought??? People have become puppets of the Republican Party who are for full tax breaks for their Rich buddies in the U.S.(and shipping jobs over seas at the same time). And screw the regular people. And screw the deficit replenishment. And screw World PEACE. Lets spin the wheel of War, for the next time that the Republicans are in office. Iran, Turkey, Africa(the part worth invading), or maybe Gaza to protect help their Israel buddies get rid of the people already rightfully on that land.

------------------------------

Pouring heart out????? Or do you mean supporting other countries first, before giving a rats ass about your own homeless and hungry people? Oh but people don't care about their local neighbors. Might as well let them die first, instead of offering any help in life. But sending Billions and Billions of dollars per year to Africa to fight the endless fight is such a waste. Those people are one month away from death. And it is constantly being prolonged in quite a painful way. Keep making babies and hope that one lasts until adulthood. Even though 5 babies, from one mother, may die before the age of ten. People are not told that part. Then there are the better off Africans who Rape and Rape and Rape all the starving people. And kill the men off for target practice.

Doesn't religion say something about helping your fellow man? He or She is just down the street. Take your TV religious program donation down there instead. Help to eliminate the local conditions that cause people to go to the life of crime, and instead give them the life lessons of Education to gain factual knowledge for the future of their life.

Palin doesn't care about the people. She even quits being governor of Alaska, to be able to get paid big bucks for all her 'over throw the Democrat government' speeches. How many people actually thought that she was a regular person enough, to ride a bus from venue to venue? She rode on private jets and then took the bus from the airport or hotel to the venue. Sheeple people loving Palin.
And don't people remember that Palin didn't want to live in the Governors Mansion and instead she commuted??? to her home in Wasilla. What a waste of the States time and money. And she still is living the life of luxury on the backs of sign carrying people. http://taxprof.typep...-palins-ta.html

And that very expensive non-existent, imaginary pipeline from Alaska to the lower 48. Total corruption. The oil industry loved her. Half a billion dollars just thrown away to greed.

Even Republicans are going WTF over what some of the Tea Party Republicans are saying about how they will run things. And some of those 'things' sure sound like 'Marshal Law' over the people who are not white. One suggestion fromFlorida was to dump all the illegals in the middle of nowhere U.S.A. and put up a fence to keep them in. Hitler would of been so proud. But G.W. Bush had 8 years to get rid of all the illegals. So why are some still in the U.S.? Mission Failed.

http://www.thechurchofgoogle.org/Scripture/Proof_Google_Is_God.html

Google is God.

» PROOF #1

Google is the closest thing to an Omniscient (all-knowing) entity in existence, which can be scientifically verified. She indexes over 9.5 billion WebPages, which is more than any other search engine on the web today. Not only is Google the closest known entity to being Omniscient, but She also sorts through this vast amount of knowledge using Her patented PageRank technology, organizing said data and making it easily accessible to us mere mortals.

» PROOF #2

Google is everywhere at once (Omnipresent). Google is virtually everywhere on earth at the same time. Billions of indexed WebPages hosted from every corner of the earth. With the proliferation of Wi-Fi networks, one will eventually be able to access Google from anywhere on earth, truly making Her an omnipresent entity.

» PROOF #3

Google answers prayers. One can pray to Google by doing a search for whatever question or problem is plaguing them. As an example, you can quickly find information on alternative cancer treatments, ways to improve your health, new and innovative medical discoveries and generally anything that resembles a typical prayer. Ask Google and She will show you the way, but showing you is all She can do, for you must help yourself from that point on.

» PROOF #4

Google is potentially immortal. She cannot be considered a physical being such as ourselves. Her Algorithms are spread out across many servers; if any of which were taken down or damaged, another would undoubtedly take its place. Google can theoretically last forever.

» PROOF #5

Google is infinite. The Internet can theoretically grow forever, and Google will forever index its infinite growth.

» PROOF #6

Google remembers all. Google caches WebPages regularly and stores them on its massive servers. In fact, by uploading your thoughts and opinions to the internet, you will forever live on in Google's cache, even after you die, in a sort of "Google Afterlife".

» PROOF #7

Google can "do no evil" (Omnibenevolent). Part of Google's corporate philosophy is the belief that a company can make money without being evil.

» PROOF #8

According to Google trends, the term "Google" is searched for more than the terms "God", "Jesus", "Allah", "Buddha", "Christianity", "Islam", "Buddhism" and "Judaism" combined.

God is thought to be an entity in which we mortals can turn to when in a time of need. Google clearly fulfils this to a much larger degree than traditional "gods"

» PROOF #9

Evidence of Google's existence is abundant. There is more evidence for the existence of Google than any other God worshiped today. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If seeing is believing, then surf over to www.google.com and experience for yourself Google's awesome power. No faith required.

And hilarious hate mail about Google being God.

Since this thread is already off topic.

How many people know that Saddam Hussein was a major CIA operative of the Republican government of The Regan/Bush era? He was started in the late 50's , Eventually became leader(1968 coup) and then eventually Saddam rebelled against his handlers in 1990 by attacking America's friend, Kuwait. Then he had to be neutralized, but that would have to wait until the early 2000's, when the Republicans were back in charge to fabricate evidence of weapons of mass destruction, as a way to invade.

The Iraq attacking Iran war was meant to get rid of the Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran. But instead made Iraq into quite the power house of might, thanks to Ronald Reagan and George Bush.

And it only took nearly a trillion dollars to scrub Iraq of his regime. And 4,700 plus dead soldiers. And at least a 100,000 dead Iraq civilians. Including the woman who was bringing food to some U.S. soldiers(as per custom) and was blown up by a rocket launcher. http://wikileaks.org/

War is is profitable for the undertakers. And weapon makers too.

I go with Mudmanc4 on this one ,
Money gives power to do good or evil , not having any limits your options ,
so money creates money , money makes the world go around, so is it unfair that some folk have more than others ? ,
maybe how they made it might be questionable , but it takes 2 to tango ,
so some folk got into mortgages that they had no realistic way of repaying , so it was the lenders fault ? ,
did they need the state to hold their hand , thats been tried before ( communism ) ,
Upon this gifted age, in its dark hour,
Rains from the sky a meteoric shower
Of facts... they lie unquestioned, uncombined.
Wisdom enough to leech us of our ill
Is daily spun; but there exists no loom
To weave it into fabric.

If you give someone $10 a day for a month(not telling of the cutoff) for doing nothing and then stop the $10 a day, the person is going to complain. It's easy money. And thats how the credit system in the U.S. used to work. It hooked millions into it's black hole of doom.

-------------------

If someone went in to the mortgage broker and the broker says that the sub prime mortgage will be great at a nice low monthly repay price(for two years until rates rise massively) and then with the housing prices rising up every month, all you do is sell the house in a year or so and make 60 grand,,,,, The person gets massive dollar signs in their eyes and they go for it, with the brokers blessing. It's a crooked way to do business. And since there was no specific law against it, all those crooked brokers remain out of jail.
And can't forget about people being lead by the nose into 'zero dollars down' mortgages. And that happens by the person taking out two mortgages at the same time. One for the house and one for the down payment. With the brokers blessing.

At least Canada has the 5% down law(can be also 20% down). It used to be a basic 10% down, but with the higher price of homes, it needed to be reduced. But here they make sure that the person has a job and means to be able to repay the mortgage.
I see some online scammers are advertising zero percent down mortgages in Canada. But it must be 'bridge financing'. 'Bridge' is 'short term' financing.

Watch a bunch of those 'flip this house' type shows. You have people who actually quit their jobs, or got fired for not coming to work, and they would only see dollar signs as they max out all their credit lines and work on the house from daylight to nightfall. The market crash must of sent some to live on the streets.

The banks were sending out free credit cards to 'occupant' for instant credit. People got dozens of cards in the mail and to activate them all would be suicide for their eventual credit.
And now new credit card laws are in effect. No more of giving a person a 9% rate to then jack it up to 28% since the sky is blue and the person used it at the 'wrong' stores. An algorithm determined that using the card in certain neighborhoods justified a credit risk to be able pay back the use of the card. Use the card at Saks Fifth Ave? Good credit. Use the card in the Getto? Bad credit risk and up the rate.

And no more of the banks 'instant over-draft protection' without the users permission. That was a major scam. The person uses their debit card and funds in their bank account go to zero. The bank decides that the user needs over-draft protection to avoid embarrassment on the next transaction, to allow funds to continue to flow(without notification). But the bank then charges a 'fee' on every over-draft transaction. So when the person then uses that card for 7 times in over-draft, they get 7 fee's. It is a scam to make the bank instant money. And the user screaming in the bank when they get their monthly bill. And the 'fee' could be for a ice cream cone of a debit charge of a $1.50.

----------------------------

The nation of greed killed itself with very sloppy lending policies that are being fixed for the better. And now people are saving money and putting off having kids for two years, until they actually have the finances for raising a kid or two.

Upon this gifted age, in its dark hour,
Rains from the sky a meteoric shower
Of facts... they lie unquestioned, uncombined.
Wisdom enough to leech us of our ill
Is daily spun; but there exists no loom
To weave it into fabric.

Thats Hilarious. :2funny: :2funny:

Now can we see the documents that show that during gulf war part one, that the U.S. is sworn to protect the Royal Families and their countries like Kuwait. "Heres your oil and now give us any 'instant' military forces when needed."

Meanwhile the CIA has agents planted high up in various countries governments. To help overthrow those that do not comply with U.S. rules.

And for those that do not know. The Republican party is sworn to uphold the country of Israel. And that includes supplying weapons to Israel to destroy their enemies on the other side of the fence, or Iran, or now Turkey. And the recent aid ship incident of boarding and murder was Piracy in international waters. Which is supposedly punishable by long jail terms or death. But the U.N. does not have the balls to do it.

Another crap fest orchestrated by Israel many years ago.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident

The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and motor torpedo boats, on June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War. The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members (naval officers, seamen, two Marines, and one civilian), wounded 170 crew members, and severely damaged the ship. At the time, the ship was in international waters

Democrats try to make peace. And cut off weapons transfers. But peace will not happen unless international troops move in and put up a giant concrete wall on the original border to prevent Israel from stealing other peoples lands. And murdering those that will not leave.

Never had the guts to play the stock market.. Even our long term investments from the bank are the safe, just earn interest on top of the safe, secured principle ones. Instead of what some people did, was the open market, where you can make more money in a floating interest investment. But when the market tanked, we still had our interest and some people lost all their extra floating interest and were right back to where they would of been with just a safe interest investment. And oh how they complained at the loss.

And then there are those vehicle assemblers in Detroit. That started work at about 18 years of age and retire at 45 years of age. That is ridiculous. No retirement fund can support that. And some had to go back to some type of work somewhere after the market crash and restructuring.

The pic below is proof positive from some question and answer on yahoo, that McCain is a sleeper agent.
Using a small, high GB flash memory chip takes up less jaw and cheek space by the way. And mount the camera in a modified eye.

And ladies, you should worry about losing your Rights if Palin were to gain control of your bodies government.

Republican federal government wastes 1 billion dollars for abstinence only propaganda.

The federal government has spent more than $1 billion on the abstinence-only message since 1996 under a program created by Congress as part of welfare reform.

That would be insane if that really happened. John McCain ends up being the Anti-Christ. He gets elected and on the day of his inauguration after he's sworn in his eyes turn red and he laughs maniacally, "MUH HA HA HA HA!" :angry4: :angry5: :biggun: :headbang:

:haha:

... I also like how the Yahoo! Answers thread is marked as "Answered." -- hahaha, :2funny:

All hearsay. No 'REAL' proof other than Obama's words as usual. :haha: Obama is a putz. And I'll still gladly help pay his way up north. I'd bet he would learn to love Canada. :D

Hmmmmm. Relatives........

George Bush (1796–1859) was a biblical scholar who wrote the book 'Life of Mohammed', and a cousin of Obadiah Newcomb Bush.

Obadiah? Is the Bush family related to Obama?

Mary Parker (1637–92) was executed by hanging in 1692 'for witchcraft' in the Salem Witch Trials, and a 4th great-grandmother of the Rev. James Smith Bush Esq. (1825–89).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_family

-------------------------------------------------

Bush Family – The First Family of Treason – How the Bush Family helped bankroll the Nazi War Machine. This is an excerpt from Alex Jones’ latest film, 9/11 Martial Law: Rise of the Police State. 2005.

And do people wonder why Bush and his co-conspirators so much enjoyed declaring martial Law after 9/11. Burn the Constitution and treat all as GUILTY. And extend the border patrols to 200 miles inside of the U.S. border, where the majority of people live.
