Though Clearwire and Sprint had already turned on Mobile WiMax in parts of New York City for some time, today Sprint officially announced Clear's launch in the New York City market. Sprint is offering a three part video series examining how Sprint got all five boroughs of New York City and parts of New Jersey and Long Island ready for its 4G network. The company today also announced that they've launched the service in Hartford, New Haven, New Brunswick, Trenton and Tampa. As with other launches, Sprint if offering an introductory price of $35 a month for the first two months of service.
