Droid Life has managed to grab some early screenshots of what's expected to be the first smartphone that operates over Verizon's new LTE network: the HTC Thunderbolt. Looking much like the Desire HD, the device looks to be Verizon's answer to the Sprint EVO 4G. The Thunderbolt is expected to be one of six LTE-capable phones Verizon will unveil next week at CES. Actual availability of these devices isn't expected until closer to the mid-year mark of 2011.
