Sprint this morning confirmed two new devices that will work with the company's Mobile WiMax network, bringing the grand total of supported devices to seventeen. The company confirmed rumors of the new HTC EVO Shift smartphone, photos of which had shown up online all week (including on Walmart's website). The device sports a slide out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2, a 5MP camera, 720p HD camcorder and a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display. The Shift goes on sale January 9 for $150 after a $100 rebate and with a two-year Sprint contract. According to the Sprint press release, the company also plans to offer a new MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot on February 27 that will run you $50 after a $50 rebate and with a new two-year contract.
