Comcast's putting a lot of extra effort into ramping up their Xfinity Internet video offerings and today gave us a nudge to note that Comcast users will soon be able to stream live television to tablet computers. According to a Comcast blog entry, the service will be available to Comcast customers (only if you subscribe to Comcast TV service) "later this year." The company also notes that the play now feature for the Xfinity TV iPad app will arrive sometime in the next few weeks, offering roughly 3,000 hours of On Demand content via the iPad either at home or on the go.
