According to <a href="http://news.cnet.com/8301-31921_3-20027800-281.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody;1n">CNET</a>, the Obama Administration is considering implementation of a system that would require each Internet user have a unique identifier when going online. Dubbed "the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace," the government insists that such a system would be about "enhancing online security and privacy" and not about foisting a digital ID card on all Americans. The problem is that as an administration that has continued most of the often-dubious domestic surveillance practices of the Bush Administration (and even concocted a few new ones), who exactly is going to believe them? Nobody will trust the government to design and implement such a system without abuse -- even if the system is voluntary, and even if Uncle Same offloads its creation to the US Commerce Department. In other words, this is going nowhere. Slowly.

I am not sure I disagree with this proposal, maybe there are personal security implications though,
But I need a licence to drive a vehicle, passport
to travel worldwide , I.D. for the  bank ,  I.D for free Bus and train. another I.D for free health care ,
the list is endless ,
I.D for the Internet ?, I don't have a problem with ,
national I.D ? why not , it's already there but unseen,

You know , why don't we all just realize that if were going to get to the star trek  " explore the universe "  work together as a planet and get off this rock we've been stuck on since the last wipe of history , and be accepted into the realm of other planets and creatures from the universe , were going to have to unify , and get rid of money ?

Give up all your worldly goods , for the betterment of the human race. Give up your anonymity  ,, why not , money is beginning to mean nothing , whats the use , what are you trying to protect once there is no money ?

Hiding in a cave to spend the rest of your life in stead of joining the rest of the living. Not much has really changed in the last several thousand years now has it ? Protecting things as if something you see with your eyes is YOURS and yours alone , belongs to no one , needs to be physically protected , by force if necessary , right ? And when your gone ?  Oh , yea , then theres' that enigma.

I grow tired of this tripe we separate ourselves with. A constant battle in the name of what ? Nothing , going no where. Stifling every aspect of what it means to be human and alive. In the name of what , nothing. Meaningless little lives by the millions living , protecting something that isnt  ours as a single person to begin with. Meaningless in the scope of reality.

Who cares about an ID , so what.  You want to know who i am ? ok , aaaaand ? Soo what ? You gonna steal my money ? Good luck with that one. If thats what your lifes worth is about. Then you need it more then I.  


Sickening mess we've all fallen into , I'm becoming more ashamed of myself and my part in it all. Holding on to such trivial things, holding close to the hearth things that do nothing but poison future generations in my name. And for what, nothing.

So go ahead and fight it out , protect your assets as if they were your children, whatever makes you feel better . Just ask yourself something , why.  No answer from some caveman type idea as someones going to take my chunk of meat will be suffice. If everything you live for is possessions , then maybe there's more to the word possession then we think.
