Hi, I"m from Melbourne,Australia. I'm having very slow download speed with the connection that i have now.. I have ran through all the baisc steps that Vann recommended...  But I still get very poor speed , here's my test result from testmy.net

I'm running winXp home sp2. I'm sorry i don't know what the service that i have, I just plug in my cable to the wall in my room in order to use the broadband connection...  but the advertised speed is 2000k download and 521k upload.

Yes, I have all the latest update for windows and i clean up my laptop with spybot .. and i installed cablenut 4.08....

download version 6 of my tweaks and unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut

now open cablenut, in top left corner, click file, load custom settings file, browse to

C:ProgramCablenutVanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_6_ALL_WIN_OS_AND_SATCABLE_DSL_FIBER_DIAL-UPWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460

dubbleclick on Cable & DSL 2000 384.ccs and now change DefaultSendWindow from 49152 to 65536

now click save to registry and reboot

make a new speedtest, use the 2992KB test downstream and 1496 KB test upstream

also make a new tweaktest

I can see some improvement to the speed after i applied the change.. Thanks. but can I make it more faster?  Because I got about 1500KBps before with the same connection i have now.. I don't know why it has been slow down greatly recently..
