According to a press statement by Sprint the company will be raising the cost of many people's "Everything Data" plans by an additional $10 per month. The extra fee was previously imposed on HTC EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, and Epic 4G phones trying to access Sprint's WiMax network. Now the fee will be imposed on all Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Palm, and Instinct devices. It was apparently this, or eliminate the company's offering of unlimited data for the company's Mobile WiMax subscribers. "The charge will assist Sprint in offering simple and affordable unlimited plans for its customers while maintaining a wireless network able to meet the growing appetite for a richer mobile experience," says the company.

It's like a luxury tax that all providers are pretty much tacking on. Dicks.
