Thats what I was thinking, he was likely in a state of shock.

If you have ever been in a nasty accident , it can be a very strange feeling. He obviously didnt handle it well. if that was the driver.

I don't care how shocked I am.. if I saw a group full of people lifting a car off some dude... I'd lend a hand, I'm sure you would too.  -- That guy didn't want to get his suit dirty.

Opposite of that is the old man who obviously orchestrated the whole thing.  Watch closely, here.. I'll narrate, (pay attention to 'old blue' in the blue blockers).  At the beginning he's shaking his hand in anxiousness, "There's someone under there..." -- then he rally's the troops! "Let's just lift it off him... come on everyone!"  --- then the guy in the suit's like, "Fudge that, I just paid $124.99 for this suit!  I'm just going to slowly step to the side and let the heros take care of this one."  Posted Image  ---  I mean seriously, IT'S YOUR CHANCE TO SHINE AS A HUMAN... AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR EFFEN SUIT!  Lame ass!  Maybe when a car is ironically burning on top of him he'll think about how much he rushed when it was someone else hanging off the cliff.

"I wonder if anyone noticed how much of a pussy I am... eh, it's not like it's on Youtube or something..."  -- says the man boy in the suit that's obviously 2 sizes too large for him.

Man... amazing video.  Lot's of true human being there.  Sorry to focus on the negative by the way.  Just boils my blood when I see someone do something like that.

Most amazing part is that that guy survived!

It's human nature to look for the negative. I have this trait , not so long ago I finally heard it when several friend decided to sit me down and  ask me why the glass is always half empty ,suddenly I heard it echo in my mind maybe a hundred times when someone may have said that to me,  and have been working on it ever since i chose to listen. So now I try to see something else , be it right or wrong , I look at as many possibilities as my mind can some up with what information I have.

I guess I might ask myself , if this guy is the driver , maybe he was not like so many others , there are a lot of people out there , with hands so soft because they have really never used them for anything that would toughen them up. Many of these people literally do not have the strength to open a tight jar of ( place your favorite jar here ) , I know some of these people.

Maybe the guy in the suit has a medical issue that would prevent him from getting on his knees in his 1000$ suit. Who knows , maybe he is just a dick.

I taught myself to expect the worse and hope for the best. It works for me as a landlord and father. :cheesy:

Sure , that works for some situations , but expecting the worst in everyone doesn't leave much room open for reasonably ascertaining the facts about what is going on, and being open enough to accept things as they are. Again I'm not referring to a broken window , leaky roof , burnt out kitchen or flooded basement.

I'm speaking to pre determining the personality and demeanor and or reason for someones actions with little facts to go on.

the vid was short , now in UK newspapers,  great rescue ,  did anyone have first aid experience ? , I only got he got dragged out ? .
so how was the guy ? ,
just to add without any distraction from a rescue well done ,and indeed some folk just Freeze , nothing wrong with that IMHO ,
you either can our can't ,  it ain't just in the USA ,indeed in France it is a legal requirement not to turn away,
not making any point here , just saying, doing something is a mark of a civilised country ,

BTW , I nearly owed my life , after I fell under a ship going full in reverse , after bouncing 50 ft +under the hull, I saved myself ,
but 3 harbour bystanders had already leapt into the water ,   "thanks" is a small word , another 30 seconds and I would have drowned ,
I hope the Biker see's it the same way ,
Just saying, if First aid is taught free in The USA ( it is in the UK ) sign up , the life you may save could be your own ,

Yes it is free , or at least has always been , maybe they have changed it , which would be insane to charge for basic life saving techniques .
