i've used it for years i enjoy it, works very well imo

i don't use it...don't have a web cam...but my son and my one grandson use it to talk to my other grandson in another state...they love it...they call it face time

You do not need to do video w/ skype. Basically it's the " new " IRC beefed up by corporations and getting to be bloated as of late.
Personally I use it daily for business in several countries. I can make a quick call or text , if I must then a video chat , and if the timing is right have products in the mail that day ( depending on the time zone I'm dealing with ). I use it for most outgoing phone calls , for around 3 bucks /month I get worldwide VoIP.

I used to use it when I co-owned the radio station but now even the seeing the the word leaves a bad taste in my mouth... icky memories, ya know?

Since microsoft took over skype,I WOULDNT USE IT FOR ANYTHING!!

only apple phones, ipod touches, and ipads can do facetime its an apple only thing
