Yesterday, Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) requested that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder make Arizona Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Morrissey available to speak with Committee investigators concerning his knowledge of Operation Fast and Furious. Last week, Morrissey’s supervisor, Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Cunningham, informed the Committee that he would exercise his Fifth Amendment rights and refuse to answer any questions pertaining to Operation Fast and Furious.
