Iv'e watched this for many years, and the longer this goes on , the more confusion the charts and news becomes on otherwise legal U.S. citizens.

One month your permit might be valid in 20 states , the next maybe 18 , then a few months later , any number of states may revoke honoring your state.

For many valid reason i understand, at the same token the way this jumbling of legal issues goes , at times seems much more as a trap then anything political .

If your traveling and hold a valid carry permit from any state , you must be vigilant, and make this a part of your life , to know what states honor and the restrictions within the state your traveling.

Albeit an utter impossibility to keep up with the politicians playing games with what could mean a felony on your part, for something as simple as crossing a state line with what was possibly legal yesterday , but considered a felony today.

So how's everybody doing in that little head of yours ? ™

I have been watching CCW for decades , with utter amazement ,
but then CCW or just plain owning a gun in the UK is a automatic 5 years in jail,
there are exceptions, it is possible to own a gun with a police licence ,
getting the licence is another thing , it involves the question why the need ,
and medical examination as to soundness of mind etc, most applicants fail on why the need, failing that mental soundness routes out the rest ,LOL

Personally I don't know anyone who owns a gun , thankfully ,
as a aside even my longbow has to be carried in a case unstrung , strung and carried in public is a automatic offensive weapon charge ,

but then our regular police aren’t armed ( their choice ) but have armed back up available , even those officers have to hand the gun back in at end of shift ,

but then the general public never owned guns in the UK , suddenly banning ownership in a country that has historically has gun ownership as a right would be near on impossible in my opinion ,

just my thoughts ,

BTW, my time with the RAF , mounting guard with the trusty lee-Enfield 303 cal.rifle
I think it is now safe to confess I was not issued with any ammunition  I think I was suposed to use it as a club :violent1:
Upon this gifted age, in its dark hour,
Rains from the sky a meteoric shower
Of facts... they lie unquestioned, uncombined.
Wisdom enough to leech us of our ill
Is daily spun; but there exists no loom
To weave it into fabric.

Or chuck it like a spear at your enemies eye :tard:

Well, yes things are a little different here. Myself, I have stepped out in front of a bear twice. First time, we walked away from each other (thank god). The second time, she was thinking about checking me out, so I took my trusty Ruger 44 mag out of it's holster and fired at the ground beside the bear. Problem solved. And, bear spray does sometimes just piss them off, and they still manage to attack. I'll stick with the trusty 44. Now for the mountain lions.

I have no care of need to intentionally kill anything , I suppose it was my upbringing. Iv'e been taught God is the key to social stability, a simple set of personal rules. Iv'e been taught to respect life in general , as well as authority, or , someone there job description is to protect myself and family. After years it becomes part of who you are , simply spoken , be a decent person and smile.

If my family had not been in the sporting goods business for over 100 years I might not have the respect for life and devices as I do. It's just normal to me, and i hold no fear. Just respect from knowledge and the sanity of critical thinking.

Do I need to carry protection I ask myself often , not really. Not where we choose to live. Do I feel as if simply because it is my " right " , I should exercise it ? not really no. More like a fun hobby for me. I'm not a sports fan nor am I all that physical, but i am able to make decisions instantly based on my self respect of others as well as society. Break that down as you wish.

I enjoy plinking a few hundred rounds a week off at the local range just to say I did , and have something to say I'm good at.

So how's everybody doing in that little head of yours ? ™
