Ok so i received a Macbook 2007 from my Dad, and i hooked it up too my monitor and it works well as a iMac ! But here is the ''?'' I want a CHEAP Apple Laptop what should I Get?

You have an intel mac... why would you want to go backwards. :-P -- they're cheaper for a reason Son. --- they can still be good computers but you have an intel macbook that works fine, just swap out the display and battery on it and you'll be rockin' and rollin'! -- you can amazon those parts for under the price of that g4...

intel macs are the way to go the legacy macs can still be nice but apple did take a huge step forward by using intel

True that , although there is a lot to be said about conformity in architecture , it should be concerning the fact one company now controls the majority. Look at the possible repercussions as tens of thousands of child companies manufacturing components for nearly all motherboards and nearly all end user desktop devices.

Are we to assume this company with this much power has everyones best interests in mind when it comes to everything from basic machine code to every developer on the planet ?
