On the morning of the day that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee scheduled for consideration of a contempt citation to Attorney General Eric Holder for his failure to comply with the Committee’s subpoena request for information regarding Operation Fast and Furious, Holder’s Justice Department has notified the Committee that President Obama has invoked executive privilege to avoid producing the subpoenaed documents.
